Gemma Miller's career journey took her through a variety of roles before finding her passion as a jeweller and launching GG Jewellery. As a talented goldsmith one of her specialties is transforming precious and sentimental heirloom jewellery into contemporary pieces that you want to wear. She is also one of the co-founders of The Makers, bringing together over 20 jewellers from across NZ in an online retail marketplace.

"If I had to give career advice, it would be to just ask lots of questions and let your curiosity go where it takes you and follow it. And if you like something, pursue it. Don't be afraid. Don't think you're not worth that. Or you can't possibly do that. Or worry about what you 'should' be doing. Because at the end of the day, if you can find something that makes you happy, you can usually make a living off it. Find the right people. Keep searching until you can make it happen."
