We’re really looking forward to sharing with you the inspirational career journeys of some incredible NZ women in our upcoming podcast.

We’ll be speaking in July with Dr Ayesha Verrall. Ayesha is an Infectious Diseases Physician and Senior Lecturer with Otago Medical School. She became a household name in early 2020 when she was asked by the Government to review their existing Covid-19 contact tracing strategy. She didn’t hold back with her criticism, and the implementation of her contact tracing recommendations was key in relaxing restrictions for all 5 million of us here in NZ. Ayesha’s specialty area is in fact in Tuberculosis and she has lived and worked in Indonesia and Singapore before returning home to New Zealand. She’ll also be sharing with us her next career steps – we can’t wait to hear more when we speak.

If you’d like to be one of the first to hear the story of Ayesha’s career journey then do subscribe to our mailing list – the sign up form is at the bottom of The Female Career website.
