We're looking forward to Honey Hireme sharing her career journey with us in August this year.

Honey is a NZ rugby league legend and has had a representative rugby league career for the last 20 years. She has played in 4 rugby league world cups with the Kiwi Ferns in 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2017 and was awarded player of the tournament in 2013. Honey is the current Captain for the NZ women's rugby league team, co-captaining with Laura Mariu and between the pair they have over 36 years of experience at international level. Honey was awarded NZ womens' rugby league player of the year in 2018 her third time winning top honours. In the 2020 New Year Honours, she was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to rugby league. Honey is also a Disability Sport Advisor with the Halberg Foundation and a Presenter and Commentator for Sky Sport.
